Having got the go ahead that my design was on the right lines I began working on full scale coloured sketches.
The photos show the beginning of my full size ideas for the front of the chasuble.
A panel like this is known as an orphrey, it runs down the centre of the Chasuble and is the centrepiece of the design.
The back orphrey is going to be less busy and symbolic of the Holy Spirit.
