The brief I have for this commission is for an altar fall and co-ordinated pulpit fall. The church is St Peter’s, so having spoken with the minister we decided on using the symbolism of fish and the crossed keys of St Peter.
These four photographs show my ideas so far. These have now been sent off, for the church to look at and decide which idea they like the most. Once that is decided I will begin my full sized working drawings.
If the client wants to incorporate ideas from two or more sketches it is at this stage that this can be done. Say for example, the background from sketch1 with the fish from sketch 4, anything is possible.
