This is my first truly international stole commission & I was thrilled to receive it. It was commissioned by the client for their friend who lives in Laos in the Philipines. The brief was to include the figure of St Joseph hugging the boy Jesus, some white lilies, an open door and a reference to the Eucharist.
The stole is created on a green silk Dupion background with silk images machine appliqued on to it. This stole is an example of my ‘Figurative Stoles’
