The client wanted this green Ordinary time stole to reflect the Creation story. It is an example of one of my more complicated designs, with many small elements added to create the finished picture. The main focus was to the river, which begins its journey up in the mountains and finishes as it rushes out to sea. Also featured are creatures of the land, air and sea.
This stole was worked as a ‘pieced’ item. Creating the side elements and then attaching them to the green neck piece. It has been sewn using complementary sewing threads, using my machine applique technique.
