This is the second in a series of stoles commissioned by my sister. It is worked in dupion silk with machine embroidery. The design was to incorporate the Alpha & Omega on one side and the crown of thorns from Coventry cathedral, where she was ordained, on the other. I found the colours on this stole to be very striking. It is worn during Advent and Lent.
