This white silk altar cloth was commissioned in the Summer of 2020 during the Coronavirus Pandemic! After a socially distanced discussion with the client (which was initially for some face masks!) He put me in touch with his nephew who the cloth was to be commissioned for. He chose the words ‘Do this in remembrance of me’ as the inspiration for the cloth.
The cloth features a Bread, Chalice, Grapes and Wheat motif with the words as requested in dark red couched thread underneath.
The Design was completed in September 2020 and will now be used at The Hope Church in Old Roan, Liverpool.
