I was asked in this commission to create a stole that featured a plain cross on one side with a crown of thorns and some ferns (connection to their New Zealand heritage) and on the other a cross that was bursting with colour, life and joy. Celebrating all that is wonderful about Christs resurrection.
This stole is made from green Dupion silk with machine appliqued, brightly coloured silks, outlined in gold metallic thread.
